Morocco–Nigeria: The Referee for the Semi-Final Has Been Appointed

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Ghanaian Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea to officiate the match between Morocco and Nigeria in the semifinals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea will be supported on the sidelines by:

Zakhele Thusi (South Africa)

Granville Siwela (South Africa)

Souru Phatsoane (Lesotho)

Arsenio Chadreque Maringule (Mozambique)

Samuel Uwikunda from Rwanda will serve as the fourth official.

The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology will be provided by:

Abongile Tom (South Africa)

Haythem Guirat (Tunisia)

Stephen Onyango Yiembe (Kenya)

The encounter between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Moroccan Atlas Lions is set to take place on Wednesday at 9:00 PM at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium. This match is expected to be one of the highlights of this edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, which will continue until January 18.
