Thursday Weather Forecast: Persistent Rain and Strong Winds in Several Regions

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts continued unstable weather this Thursday in various regions of the Kingdom. Significant local rain showers are expected in the Rif, the Tanger region, Loukkos, and northern Gharb.
Dense Clouds and Scattered Rain
According to the Directorate, the sky will often be very cloudy, with light precipitation anticipated over Saïss and the mountain ranges of the High and Middle Atlas. The weather will also remain partially cloudy, accompanied by scattered raindrops in the northern and central regions, Souss, the Mediterranean coastline, and the southern provinces.
Moderate to Strong Wind Gusts in Several Areas
Moderate to occasionally strong wind gusts are also expected in various regions, particularly in Tanger, the Rif, the western Mediterranean coast, the Atlas, the Oriental region, and the northern Saharan provinces.
Nighttime Temperature Drop and Daytime Variations
Minimum temperatures will range from 0 to 6°C in the mountainous areas of the Atlas, from 6 to 10°C in the Rif and the high plateaus, and from 10 to 14°C across the rest of the country.
During the day, temperatures are expected to see a slight decrease in the Southeast and the southern provinces, while a relative increase is anticipated in other regions.
Choppy to Very Rough Sea Conditions
Regarding sea conditions, it will be slightly to moderately choppy along the Mediterranean coast, choppy to rough in the Strait, very rough north of Tan-Tan, and rough to very rough south of Tan-Tan, with locally slight to moderate seas expected between Tarfaya and Laâyoune.
