Hajj Season 1448H: The Ministry of Habous Announces the Date for the Lottery Draw
The Ministry of Religious Endowments and Islamic Affairs has announced the date for the lottery for the Hajj of the year 1448H, specifying the procedures and timeframe for citizens who have submitted their applications for registration.
Lottery Period
According to an official statement from the ministry, the lottery to determine the final lists of pilgrims will take place from Monday, March 2 to Friday, March 13, 2026.
Selection Procedures
The lottery will be conducted at the level of communes and prefectures for pilgrims of the official Hajj, distributed across the various prefectures and provinces of the kingdom.
For pilgrims from travel agencies, the lottery will be held at the prefecture level.
Publication of Final Lists
The statement clarifies that immediately after the lottery:
The final list of selected pilgrims will be published for both types of Hajj.
A waiting list will also be published to replace those who may withdraw.
The ministry emphasized its commitment to ensuring a transparent and fair organization to guarantee the rights of all Hajj applicants for this season.
