Fatal collision between two planes at Scottsdale Airport, Arizona

A tragic accident occurred on Monday afternoon on the tarmac of a regional airport in Scottsdale, Arizona, when a Learjet 35A collided with a Gulfstream 200. According to local authorities, at least one person has died, and three others were injured and transported to the hospital.
Scottsdale firefighters reported that efforts were still underway to extract a victim trapped in one of the airplanes. The collision took place after the Learjet 35A had completed its landing but veered off the runway, crashing into the other private jet. Consequently, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has launched an investigation to determine the causes of this accident.
As a result of the incident, air traffic at the airport was temporarily halted. This accident comes on the heels of several recent tragedies in the aviation sector, including the crash of a commercial plane in Alaska last Friday, which claimed the lives of ten people, and a collision on January 30 between a passenger aircraft and a military helicopter in Washington, resulting in 67 fatalities. Another incident on February 1 involved a medical aircraft in Philadelphia, leading to the deaths of seven individuals.
