Weather Forecast for Morocco on Monday, March 30, 2026: Cold Temperatures, Scattered Rain, and Strong Winds

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts relatively cold weather for this Monday, particularly in the mountainous regions of the Atlas, their eastern slopes, as well as in the Rif and the high plateaus of the Oriental, especially during the morning and night.

Morning Mist and Light Precipitation
Mist is expected in the Souss region and the northwest of the Southern Provinces during the morning. A few drops of rain may also be recorded, with a risk of thunderstorms in the extreme south of the country. Additional light and scattered rain is forecasted for the Oriental and the east of the Mediterranean coast.

Partially Cloudy Skies and Snowfall
The skies will be partially cloudy, with light and scattered showers in the Atlas regions and the southeast. Snowfall is also anticipated in certain areas of the Middle Atlas and the east of the Kingdom.

Strong Winds and Dust Storms
Strong to locally very strong wind gusts are expected in several regions, including Tangier, Saïss, the northern and central coasts, the Oriental, the southeast, as well as the northern Saharan provinces. Dust storm phenomena are also possible in some areas of the south and southeast.

Decreasing Temperatures Followed by a Mild Increase During the Day
Minimum temperatures will range from -7 to 0°C in the Atlas mountains, from -3 to 5°C in the Rif, the high plateaus, and the eastern slopes, and from 14 to 20°C in the Southern Provinces, the extreme southeast, and the interior of Souss. Elsewhere, temperatures will fluctuate between 5 and 14°C.
During the day, temperatures will see a slight increase in the Southern Provinces, Souss, and central coasts, while they will decrease in the rest of the country.

Rough Sea Conditions
The sea will be rough to very rough in the Mediterranean and between Mehdia and Tarfaya, moderately rough to rough north of Mehdia, calm to slightly rough in the strait, and rough along the remainder of the coasts.
