The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts a predominantly cold day for Friday, April 3, 2026, especially in the mountainous regions of the Atlas, Rif, and the high plateaus, particularly during the morning and night.
Low Clouds and Light Rain
Relatively dense low clouds are expected to form locally, accompanied by very light rain over the northern Atlantic plains and the northwestern Saharan provinces. Meanwhile, the sky will remain mostly clear to partially cloudy in the far southern regions of the country.
Strong Winds and Local Dust
Strong gusts of wind are also anticipated along the central coast and in the Saharan provinces, which could lead to the local dispersion of dust.
Minimum and Maximum Temperatures
Minimum temperatures will range from -6 to -2 °C in the Atlas mountains, between 2 and 4 °C in the Rif and Oriental regions, and from 16 to 23 °C in the southeast and south of the country. In the remaining regions, temperatures will be between 6 and 12 °C. Maximum temperatures are expected to rise slightly across most areas.
Sea Conditions
The sea will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean and the straits, and slightly choppy to choppy north and south of Larache.
