Weather Forecast for Tuesday, April 7
The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts rainy and sometimes stormy weather for Tuesday, April 7, across the northern and central plains, the Tanger region, Saïss, the Rif, the western Mediterranean façade, as well as the mountain ranges of the Atlas and their neighboring regions, including the northern areas of the Saharan provinces.
Strong Wind Gusts and Local Sandstorms
Strong wind gusts are anticipated in the Atlas, Oriental regions, and the Saharan provinces. Moderate winds will blow through the northern interior plains and the Saïss region, with local sandstorm phenomena expected.
Temperatures Dropping Across Most Regions
Minimum temperatures will range between 4 to 12°C in the mountainous areas of the Atlas, the Rif, and the elevated plateaus of the Oriental. In contrast, temperatures will vary between 17 to 24°C in the eastern Saharan provinces and southeastern slopes, with other areas seeing temperatures between 12 to 16°C. Maximum temperatures are set to rise in the southern provinces but will decline elsewhere in the country.
Sea State
The sea will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean, moderately choppy to rough in the strait, as well as in the northern region of Larache and south of Tan-Tan, and rough to very rough along the remainder of the coast.
