Morocco Welcomes 15.7 Million Tourists by September 2026
Morocco has recorded 15.7 million tourist arrivals during the first nine months of 2026, representing a 5% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth translates to an additional 717,000 tourists.
The upward momentum continued in September, with over 1.5 million visitors welcomed, marking an 8% rise from September 2025. These results underscore the sustained growth of the Moroccan tourism sector, even beyond peak seasons.
Fatim-Zahra Ammor, the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy, highlighted this ongoing trend and reaffirmed the national goal of reaching 26 million tourists by 2030.
The minister also emphasized the importance of solidifying this growth to generate greater value, create jobs, and provide more opportunities across all regions of the Kingdom.
