Abu Dhabi: Three Injured After Shrapnel Fallout Following Attack on Gas Facility

On Wednesday, three individuals sustained minor injuries in Abu Dhabi after debris fell on a gas processing facility, following a successful interception by the United Arab Emirates’ air defense systems.
Details of the Incident
According to the Abu Dhabi Media Office, in a statement released on its official X account, “the relevant authorities are responding to a fire that broke out at the +Habshan+ gas processing facility, caused by debris resulting from the successful interception by air defenses.” The injured individuals include two Emiratis and one Indian, all of whom were only lightly affected.
Temporary Suspension of Operations
The statement further noted that operations at the site have been temporarily suspended due to the fires triggered by the incident, and that additional information would be provided as soon as it becomes available.
