Qatar Announces Gradual Resumption of Foreign Airline Flights to Hamad Airport

In an official statement, the General Authority of Civil Aviation indicated that it has issued an aviation directive allowing for the gradual return of foreign airline flights operating in Qatar to Hamad Airport.
Measures Related to Security Context
Qatar had closed its airspace following missile and drone strikes launched by Iran toward the country and other Gulf states, before partially resuming air traffic on March 7, which included some operations of Qatar Airways.

The authority specified that this decision comes after a comprehensive evaluation of the security situation, while reaffirming that “the safety of all users remains the top priority.”
