Weather: Thunderstorms and strong winds in certain regions this Sunday

Here are the weather forecasts for Sunday, April 26, 2026, provided by the General Directorate of Meteorology:

– Morning and nighttime fog formations over the northern and central plains and the northern regions of Oriental.

– Quite a few low clouds over the Mediterranean shore, the Rif mountains, and the central coast, with light drizzles or scattered showers.

– Unstable clouds bringing showers or stormy rain on the High and Middle Atlas.

– Strong gusts of wind in the Tangier region, along the central coast, and in the south, with duststorms in some areas.

– Minimum temperatures ranging from 2°C to 7°C in the Atlas, 6°C to 12°C in the Rif, the phosphate plateaus and Oulmès, as well as the Oriental region, and 12°C to 17°C elsewhere.

– Maximum temperatures are expected to rise in the northern half and slightly decrease in the southern provinces.

– The sea will be slightly to moderately rough in the Mediterranean, the Strait, and along the Atlantic coast.
