Weather Forecast for Thursday, April 30
The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts rain or thunderstorms, occasionally accompanied by hail, in the Rif, Middle and High Atlas regions, as well as the eastern region.
Low Clouds and Local Fog
Low clouds combined with localized fog or very light precipitation are also expected over the coastal plains in the northern and central Atlantic regions, along with the northwest provinces of the South.
Moderate to Strong Winds
Moderate to strong gusts of wind are anticipated in the eastern region, the southern High Atlas, and the southeast of the country, which may enhance the feeling of coolness in certain areas.
Temperatures Varying by Region
Minimum temperatures will range from 2 to 10°C in the Atlas and Rif mountains, from 8 to 14°C on the interior plateaus and in the Tangier region, and from 18 to 20°C in the extreme southeast. Elsewhere, temperatures will vary between 14 and 18°C. Maximum temperatures will see a slight rise in most regions.
State of the Sea
The sea will be calm in the Mediterranean, calm to slightly choppy in the Strait of Gibraltar, and slightly to moderately choppy along the Atlantic coast.
