BANK OF AFRICA Partners with the Moroccan Diaspora Trophy Foundation for the 2nd Edition of the Economic Forum of Moroccans Worldwide (FEMM)

BANK OF AFRICA has teamed up with the Moroccan Diaspora Trophy Foundation to organize the 2nd edition of the Economic Forum of Moroccans Worldwide (FEMM), which will take place on May 8, 2026, in Marrakech under the theme “Investment of Moroccans Worldwide and Innovation”.

This event brings together institutional and economic stakeholders to address the challenges related to mobilizing the savings of Moroccans worldwide and directing it towards productive investments in Morocco.

Dedicated Financing Solutions for Diaspora Projects

As part of its commitment, BANK OF AFRICA is implementing specific mechanisms to support Moroccans worldwide who wish to invest in Morocco. Among these solutions are “MDM Invest” and “MDM Tamwil”, which facilitate access to co-financing mechanisms and support the realization of projects in sectors deemed priorities for the economic development of the Kingdom.

These financial instruments aim to encourage the implementation of initiatives led by the diaspora and to strengthen their impact on the national economy.

Comprehensive Support Beyond Financing

The action of the bank is not limited to financing; it also extends to comprehensive support for project holders. This approach is based on enhancing skills, mentoring entrepreneurial initiatives, and connecting them with a network of experts and partners.

BANK OF AFRICA thus offers a structured environment that promotes project maturation and long-term viability.

Training and Incubation Programs for Entrepreneurs

The bank is also developing training programs through its Entrepreneurship Club, a free, certified program aimed at boosting the skills of entrepreneurs.

In partnership with universities and schools, BANK OF AFRICA provides educational banking spaces dedicated to incubators, facilitating the support of project holders in their business creation and development processes.

Additionally, it offers an open innovation program for young startups, regardless of their maturity level, to encourage the emergence of innovative solutions.

An International Network Serving Moroccans Worldwide

Each year, the bank organizes cycles of regional investment meetings in Morocco and in the countries where Moroccans live. These meetings help connect diaspora investors with institutional actors such as Regional Investment Centers, the CCG, ministries, and sector experts.

These initiatives aim to showcase the economic potential of Moroccan regions and to better inform about the incentive mechanisms in place to encourage investments from Moroccans worldwide.

A Sustainable Commitment to Productive Investment

Through its participation in FEMM, BANK OF AFRICA reaffirms its position as a key player in supporting the Moroccan diaspora. The bank confirms its commitment to fostering productive, innovative, and sustainable investments, contributing to the economic development of the Kingdom.
