BAM: The Outstanding Amount of Crowdfunding for Housing Reaches 30.6 Billion Dirhams by the End of March

Bank Al-Maghrib Reports Growth in Housing Financing
Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM) has announced that crowdfunding for housing, particularly in the form of real estate Mourabaha (including pre-established margins), has continued its upward trend, reaching 30.6 billion dirhams (MAD) by the end of March. This marks an increase from 25.8 billion MAD just a year prior.
In its recent “Bank Credits-Deposits” dashboard, BAM highlights that this form of financing experienced an annual growth of 18.5%.
Additionally, the report indicates that loans extended to households totaled 397.5 billion MAD, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 3.4% compared to the same period last year, and a slight rise of 0.3% from December 2025.
This growth encompasses a 2.9% increase in housing loans and a 3.9% rise in consumer credit.
