Snow and Heavy Rain Forecasted for Several Provinces

The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has announced that snow and heavy rainfall are expected on Friday and Saturday across various provinces of the Kingdom.

From Friday at 6:00 PM to Saturday at 10:00 AM, snowfall of 10 to 25 centimeters is anticipated at altitudes above 2,000 meters in the provinces of Ouarzazate, Azilal, Midelt, Tinghir, and Al Haouz, as detailed in an orange vigilance alert bulletin from the DGM.

Additionally, significant rainfall (20-40 mm) accompanied by thunderstorms is forecasted for the provinces of Tinghir, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Azilal, Béni Mellal, and Midelt during the same timeframe.

The same weather conditions are expected to affect the provinces of Errachidia, Boulemane, and Figuig on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, according to the DGM.
