Al Akhawayn Celebrates Its 2026 Graduation: 822 Graduates and Strong Job Prospects Ahead

Al Akhawayn University Celebrates Graduation of Its 27th Class
Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI) celebrated the graduation of its 27th class on Saturday during a ceremony attended by notable figures from the business and entrepreneurial sectors. The event highlighted the university’s academic achievements and the excellence of its educational model, which is recognized for its international openness and increasing integration of new technologies, particularly artificial intelligence.
For the Class of 2026, the university graduated 822 students, with women comprising 59% of the cohort, reaffirming its commitment to equal opportunity and diversity. Remarkably, nearly 75% of the graduates secured job offers even before graduation, showcasing the strong employability of AUI alumni.
Amine Bensaid, President of Al Akhawayn University, commended the academic and extracurricular accomplishments of this graduating class. He emphasized the students’ involvement in scientific research, innovation, entrepreneurship, community engagement, and university sports.
This year, students from the School of Business Administration stood out significantly. Thirty-five of them achieved the highest score on the Major Field Test in Business, an international benchmark assessing academic proficiency in management and business.
The university also recorded exceptional research contributions. Bachelor’s students helped produce 117 peer-reviewed scientific publications, and three student-led research projects received recognition at international conferences.
In the realm of professional integration, Al Akhawayn continues to enhance its work-study programs. This year, 154 students participated in these initiatives, marking a 233% increase compared to the previous year. Additionally, 414 companies are now posting their job offers on the university’s career platform.
Entrepreneurship remains a strategic priority for the institution. Over 1,000 students took part in 26 events focused on business creation, supported by 34 mentors and investors. In total, 40 startups have received assistance from the university, with 21 of them being presented with investment proposals.
Through these results, Al Akhawayn University reaffirms its status as one of the leading higher education institutions in Morocco and the region, preparing graduates who are equipped to tackle the challenges of the labor market and the economy of tomorrow.
