Weather in Morocco this Monday: Extreme Heat, Isolated Storms, and Strong Winds

Weather Forecast for Monday in Morocco
The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts hot to very hot weather across several regions of Morocco this Monday. Expect warmth particularly in the northern and central plains, the Chiadma region, Souss, the southeastern part of the Kingdom, and the eastern and southern Saharan provinces.
Low clouds accompanied by fog are anticipated along the Atlantic coasts and in the plains, as well as in the western part of the Mediterranean coast. Thunderstorm formations could also develop over the Atlas mountains, in the southeast, and in the northern eastern region, with a risk of localized showers.
Moderate to strong gusts of wind will blow along the central coasts, the Atlas mountains, and the southern provinces, potentially causing dust uplift in certain areas.
Minimum temperatures will range from 12 to 18°C in the Atlas mountains, the Rif, and northern Atlantic coasts; 25 to 32°C in the southeastern and southern Saharan provinces; and 18 to 25°C in the rest of the country.
Throughout the day, temperatures are expected to rise significantly along the Atlantic coasts and plains, in the Souss region, as well as in the southern provinces.
As for sea conditions, it will be calm in the Mediterranean, calm to slightly choppy in the Strait of Gibraltar, slightly choppy between Tangier and Larache, slightly to moderately choppy between Larache and El Jadida, and moderately rough along the southern coast.
