World Cup 2026: RAM Mobilizes 32 Special Flights to Transport Moroccan Supporters to the United States
Royal Air Maroc Launches Special Flight Program for 2026 World Cup Supporters
As part of the United 2026 World Cup, Royal Air Maroc has announced an exceptional flight program to facilitate Moroccan fans traveling to the United States to support the Atlas Lions.
During the group stage of the tournament, scheduled from June 13 to 24, 2026, the national airline will operate special flights to the cities hosting Morocco’s matches: New York, Boston, and Atlanta. Notably, Atlanta represents a new destination for Royal Air Maroc, which has never previously served this southeastern U.S. city.
In total, 32 additional flights will be scheduled during this period, providing over 8,800 seats to meet the high demand from Moroccan supporters.
Hamid Addou, the CEO of Royal Air Maroc, emphasized the company’s commitment to once again accompany the Atlas Lions on this global adventure, following the efforts made during the 2018 World Cup in Russia and the 2022 edition in Qatar. He also noted that the airline will mobilize significant human, technical, and operational resources to support Moroccan fans and promote Morocco’s image internationally.
Flight Program Details:
New York: 12 additional direct flights will be operated on June 11, 12, and 13 for departures, with return flights on June 14 and 15. This allows over 3,300 supporters to join the team led by Mohamed Ouahbi. With the existing two daily regular flights, the overall capacity to New York will reach nearly 7,500 supporters.
Boston: 12 special direct flights will be scheduled for departures on June 17, 18, and 19, and for returns on June 20, 21, and 22. These flights will transport more than 3,300 fans.
- Atlanta: Finally, 8 special direct flights will be available for departures on June 22, 23, and 24, and for returns on June 25, 26, and 27, accommodating over 2,200 travelers.
The airline confirms that these connections will be operated by large aircraft, offering a high level of comfort and safety for transatlantic journeys.
To make this travel opportunity accessible to as many supporters as possible, Royal Air Maroc will offer an exceptional round-trip fare of 10,000 dirhams in economy class, applicable to fixed-date, non-refundable tickets.
Reservations will open on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 9 AM, at the airline’s commercial agencies in Morocco, as well as on the dedicated platform: Go Lions – Royal Air Maroc.
