Fez: The Fez-Meknes Economic Forum 2026 Puts Cooperation at the Heart of Sustainable and Inclusive Development

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Fès-Meknès Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services (CCIS) and the Economic Forum Foundation are organizing the sixth edition of the Fès-Meknès Economic Forum from June 24 to 26, 2026, in Fès.

Entitled “Cooperation Networks: For Sustainable and Inclusive Development,” this gathering reaffirms Fès’s role as a platform for economic dialogue between Morocco, Africa, and the Euro-Mediterranean region.

An Unmissable Economic Event

Over the years, the Fès-Meknès Economic Forum has established itself as a convergence space uniting public decision-makers, institutions, investors, and economic operators. The event tackles issues related to international cooperation, regional integration, and territorial development in a rapidly changing global context.

The 2026 edition comes at a time marked by technological transformations, geopolitical tensions, and the reshaping of global value chains, thereby reinforcing the need to further structure economic cooperation networks.

A Vision Based on Cooperation and Synergies

For the organizers, this edition’s theme transcends mere rhetoric. It reflects a concrete approach based on resource pooling, expertise sharing, and the enhancement of synergies among economic actors.

This orientation aligns with the Kingdom’s strategic vision, which prioritizes productive investment, South-South cooperation, and the mobilization of Moroccan expertise around the globe.

A Major Meeting Point for African Consular Organizations

A highlight of this edition will be the simultaneous holding of two large continental assemblies: the 5th General Assembly of the Pan-African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PACCI) and the 50th General Assembly of the Permanent Conference of African and Francophone Consular Chambers (CPCCAF).

These meetings will bring together leading African consular organizations and several international economic networks, thereby enhancing the continental and global dimension of the forum.

The program also includes the “We Afri Can” conference, featuring the World Chambers Federation, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, affirming Morocco’s role as an economic connection platform between Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.

Diaspora, Employment, and Artificial Intelligence at the Heart of Discussions

The forum will pay particular attention to territorial and human issues. Mobilizing the Moroccan diaspora will be central to discussions, aimed at transforming it into a lever for investment, innovation, and skills transfer.

A Job Day organized in partnership with ANAPEC will connect over 2,000 job seekers with regional businesses, thereby strengthening the links between education and the labor market.

Three strategic panels will also address the future of professional chambers in the age of artificial intelligence, the effectiveness of economic cooperation networks, and the development needs of regional enterprises.

SMEs at the Center of Cooperation Networks

Consular networks play an essential role today in guiding small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) towards international markets. They facilitate access to markets, enhance connections among economic actors, and contribute to the building of trusted ecosystems.

This role is particularly emphasized in this edition, which aims to transform institutional exchanges into tangible, measurable economic opportunities for businesses and regions.

A Momentum Confirmed by Previous Editions

The 2025 edition of the forum recorded significant outcomes, with over 700 participants at the inaugural session, nearly 600 participants in workshops, representation from over 50 foreign chambers, and the signing of multiple cooperation agreements.

The event also featured more than 30 B2B meetings and extensive media coverage, confirming its growing importance on the national and international economic scene.

Fès: The Future Regional Economic Hub

Through this sixth edition, Fès aims to strengthen its positioning as a regional economic crossroads and a laboratory for new forms of cooperation, serving a more inclusive, sustainable, and integrated growth.
