Amiblu Morocco inaugurates a third production line in Nouaceur and invests 160 million dirhams.

Amiblu Morocco continues its industrial expansion with the inauguration of a third production line at its site in Nouaceur, near Casablanca. This new investment of 160 million dirhams will enhance the company’s production capacity, specializing in glass fiber reinforced polyester (GRP) piping systems, and will support major water-related projects in Morocco and across the African continent.
A Strategic Investment for Hydraulic Infrastructure
The inauguration ceremony, held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, was attended by Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, Austrian Ambassador Anna Jankovic, Vice President of Amiblu Regina Zorn, as well as several group executives and local authorities.
Through this project, Amiblu Morocco is creating 300 direct and indirect jobs while reinforcing its industrial presence in the Kingdom. This expansion addresses the growing demand for hydraulic infrastructure needed to support projects related to potable water supply, desalination, irrigation, and industrial development.
Enhanced Production Capacity
With this new manufacturing line, the company increases its annual capacity to 660 kilometers of pipelines with a medium diameter of DN800.
The investment also allows for:
- an increase in the maximum diameter of produced pipes from DN2600 to DN3200;
- a 25% enhancement in the manufacturing capacity of fittings;
- improvements in industrial performance through state-of-the-art equipment.
The goal is to produce increasingly reliable and sustainable solutions to meet the needs of major hydraulic projects both in Morocco and internationally.
A Modern Factory Focused on Innovation
Formerly known as Amitech, Amiblu Morocco has been pursuing a committed development strategy for nearly twenty years. The expansion project includes a complete production line, a testing bench meeting international standards, dedicated equipment for the manufacture of fittings, a specialized workshop, and the modernization of storage and shipping areas.
The program also includes the construction of new administrative buildings, a cafeteria for employees, and the GRP Academy, a center dedicated to training and skill development in the field of glass fiber reinforced polyester piping.
With this new milestone, Amiblu Morocco reaffirms its ambition to strengthen its position among the leading industrial players in the hydraulic infrastructure sector, while supporting strategic projects related to the sustainable management of water resources in Morocco and Africa.
