Government Council Approves Reform of Hassania School of Public Works

On Wednesday, the Government Council approved a draft decree aimed at reorganizing the Hassania School of Public Works (EHTP). This initiative, presented by the Minister of Equipment and Water, is part of the national strategy to modernize higher education and enhance academic excellence.

The reform aims to equip the institution with an organizational framework better suited to the current challenges in education, research, and innovation.

A Decree to Adapt Regulatory Framework

Draft decree No. 2.26.585 modifies and complements decree No. 2.18.911 of February 26, 2020, which was established for the implementation of Law No. 39.13 relating to the reorganization of the Hassania School of Public Works.

According to the Minister Delegate in Charge of Relations with Parliament, who serves as the government spokesperson, this revision will update the operational framework of the institution to meet the new demands of higher education and engineering.

Strengthening the Status of a Prestigious Institution

Through this reform, the government aims to solidify the EHTP’s position among Morocco’s leading engineering schools.

The objective is to enhance the quality of education, advance scientific research, and improve the governance of the institution to meet international standards in higher education.
