Weather Forecast for Friday: Hot to Very Hot Temperatures Across Several Regions
The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts warm to very hot weather for this Friday across various regions of the Kingdom, particularly in the northern Oriental, the Moulouya Valley, the plains of Tadla, Rehamna, Souss, Chiadma, the southeastern region, and the interior of the southern provinces.
The sky will be partly to mostly cloudy in the Atlas mountain ranges. Low clouds accompanied by local fog formations are also expected during the morning and night over the Atlantic plains and in the Souss region.
Moderate to strong gusts of wind will blow through the central plains and coastal areas, as well as the Saharan provinces, with occasional dust swirls in certain spots.
Minimum temperatures will range between 24°C and 30°C in Souss, southeastern areas, the east and south of the Saharan provinces, the Oriental, the Moulouya Valley, and Chiadma. In the Atlas mountain ranges, temperatures will hover between 15°C and 19°C, and locally on the northern and central Atlantic plains, while the rest of the Kingdom will see temperatures between 19°C and 25°C.
As for sea conditions, the Mediterranean will be calm, the Strait of Gibraltar will be calm to slightly choppy, the area north of Cap Ghir will be slightly choppy, and the remainder of the Moroccan coastline will experience conditions that are slightly choppy to rough.
