Royal Air Maroc Strengthens Its Presence in Europe with New Routes

The opening of new European routes enables Royal Air Maroc (RAM) to solidify its expansion strategy on the continent and strengthen its position in this strategic market, according to the specialized website BusinessTravel.fr.
The Moroccan national airline has recently expanded its European network with the launch of several new routes, including the direct link between Lille and Casablanca, inaugurated on July 3rd, as well as connections to Bilbao, Alicante, and Verona.
The new Lille-Casablanca route operates twice a week, every Monday and Friday. It aims to meet the needs of the Moroccan community residing in northern France while offering connections to several national and African destinations through the Casablanca hub, including Agadir, Dakhla, Abidjan, Cotonou, Bamako, Douala, Libreville, and Niamey.
With this expansion, Royal Air Maroc continues to enhance its network in France, where it already serves several cities such as Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, Nice, and Lyon, in addition to Brussels in Belgium and Geneva in Switzerland.
The European development has also progressed with the opening of Verona, which becomes the airline’s eighth destination in Italy after Rome, Milan, Bologna, Naples, Catania, Turin, and Venice. In Spain, Bilbao is now the ninth city served by RAM, following Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Malaga, and Seville.
According to BusinessTravel.fr, these new routes bring the total number of weekly flights operated by Royal Air Maroc between Europe and its international network to nearly 430.
This momentum also confirms the strategic role of Casablanca as an air transport hub connecting Europe to Africa, with an international network of 81 destinations, thereby reinforcing Royal Air Maroc’s position as a key player in air traffic between the two continents.
