Akdital Opens 15% of Its International Holding to Arab Invest to Accelerate Expansion

Akdital Expands Internationally with Arab Invest Partnership
The Moroccan group Akdital is continuing its international development with the entry of Arab Invest into the capital of its international holding company based in Riyadh. The pan-Arab financial institution has acquired a 15% stake in a partnership aimed at supporting the group’s growth, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
This alliance will enable Akdital to leverage Arab Invest’s investment capabilities, regional network, and established presence, while the Moroccan group will contribute its expertise in the development, management, and operation of healthcare facilities.
Currently, Akdital is developing four hospital projects in Saudi Arabia, including two in Riyadh, one in Mecca, and one in Jeddah. The group has recently secured an agreement for the planning, equipping, and management of the Aladwani Hospital in Jeddah, which will have a capacity of up to 120 beds.
This venture comes as Akdital aims to establish an international network of over 2,000 beds by 2030, while exploring new expansion opportunities in other markets in the region.
For Arab Invest, the investment in Akdital aligns with a strategy to support projects that have significant economic and social impact, as well as to develop a regional investment platform in the healthcare sector.
For its part, the Moroccan group intends to leverage this partnership to strengthen its financial capabilities and accelerate its international expansion, with Saudi Arabia positioned as one of its primary development markets.
