Weather in Morocco this Thursday: Persistent heat and thunderstorms expected in several regions.

Weather Forecast: Warm Conditions Persist Across the Kingdom

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts that this Thursday will see continued warm weather across several regions of the Kingdom, particularly in the Southeast, southern provinces, as well as the northern and central plains, and in Souss, Saïss, and the Moulayya Valley.

Unstable and stormy clouds are also expected to develop over the Atlas Mountains, Rif, Southeast, Oriental regions, Saïss, and certain areas of the phosphate plateaus and Oulmès, as well as the Souss and the eastern parts of the southern provinces. These cloud formations may bring rain or thunderstorms, with a possibility of localized hail in some areas.

During the morning and night hours, low clouds accompanied by patches of fog are anticipated along the Mediterranean coast and in certain Atlantic coastlines and plains.

Strong gusts of wind are also forecasted for the Southeast, Oriental regions, and southern provinces, with a risk of localized dust uplift.

Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 26°C and 32°C in the Southeast, East, and southern Saharan provinces, the Moulayya Valley, Saïss, the interior regions of Souss and Chichaoua, as well as in the plains of Tadla and Rehamna. Temperatures in the Atlas Mountains will fluctuate between 14°C and 20°C, near the coast and in the remaining southern provinces, while other regions of the Kingdom will see temperatures between 20°C and 26°C.

Throughout the day, temperatures are expected to rise further in the southern provinces, near the central coasts, and in the eastern parts of the country. Conversely, temperatures may experience a slight drop or remain relatively stable in other areas.

Regarding the sea state, it is anticipated to be mild to calm in the Mediterranean and the Strait, slightly choppy north of Mohammedia, and mild to choppy south of the city.
