The SRM-SM Launches Its First Training Cycle for Master Trainers

Agadir, October 12, 2026 – The Souss-Massa Regional Multi-Services Company (SRM-SM) has inaugurated, in partnership with the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) and SEQUA, its first training block aimed at Master Trainers in the fields of water and sanitation. This initiative is part of a structured approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR) designed to sustainably enhance skills and value human capital.
The inaugural session is led by the director of the training center of the Nuremberg public utility in Germany, accompanied by a national expert in vocational training for the water and sanitation sectors. It represents a significant step in developing both technical and pedagogical competencies through knowledge transfer, experience sharing, and the promotion of best professional practices.
Beyond training, this initiative seeks to establish a lasting dynamic for knowledge transmission, equipping future Master Trainers with the skills needed to enhance team qualifications and ensure the dissemination of best practices within their respective fields.
For the SRM-SM, skill development is a crucial lever for the continuous improvement of public service quality, strengthening workplace safety, and managing environmental impacts. It also helps to solidify a professional culture based on expertise, risk prevention, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
Through this program, the SRM-SM reaffirms its commitment to a high-performing, responsible, and sustainable regional public service model, where investment in people is a key factor in progress.
By training today’s competencies for tomorrow, we contribute to more efficient, safer, and sustainable water and sanitation services for the benefit of citizens.
