Aya Gold & Silver Achieves Record Production at Zgounder

Aya Gold & Silver Sets New Production Record in Q3 2026
Canadian mining company Aya Gold & Silver has achieved an unprecedented production level in the third quarter of 2026, with two million ounces of silver equivalent produced in Morocco. This achievement, announced on Wednesday, October 14, primarily stems from the results of the Zgounder mine, which continues to significantly contribute to the company’s growth.
This production volume marks a 51% increase compared to the 1.3 million ounces recorded in the third quarter of 2025. The growth also represents a 21% rise from the second quarter of 2026, when production stood at 1.7 million ounces.
Significant Quarterly Production Increase
With two million ounces of silver equivalent produced from July to September, Aya Gold & Silver sets a new quarterly record. The change in production volume reflects an acceleration of mining activity compared to the previous two reference periods.
The annual increase of 51% highlights the extent of growth over the past twelve months. On a quarterly basis, the 21% rise further confirms the upward trend observed since the beginning of the year.
These results position the Zgounder mine at the core of the operational performance of the Canadian company in Morocco.
Zgounder Achieves New Heights in Ore Processing
The performance of the third quarter is not limited solely to silver production. The facilities at Zgounder also reached a record level of ore processing, averaging 4,096 metric tons per day during this period.
This daily throughput represents a 5% increase over the second quarter of 2026. It serves as an important indicator of the site’s industrial activity, measuring the volume of ore handled by the processing facilities.
The combination of increased production and higher processing volumes allows Aya Gold & Silver to set a double quarterly record.
Zgounder: Central to the Growth of Aya Gold & Silver
The published results confirm Zgounder’s pivotal role in the company’s performance in Morocco. The increase in produced and processed volumes reflects a ramp-up of activity in the third quarter of 2026.
For the Moroccan mining industry, these figures illustrate the potential role that silver production sites can play in the development of the sector. Upcoming results will provide a better understanding of Aya Gold & Silver’s ability to maintain this momentum in the final months of the year.
