Omar Seghrouchni and Amin Benjelloun Touimi Sign Partnership Agreement to Enhance Access to Information
On Monday, October 26, 2026, Mr. Omar Seghrouchni, President of the Commission for Access to Information, and Mr. Amin Benjelloun Touimi, General Director of Barid Al-Maghrib, presided over a signing ceremony at the Barid Al-Maghrib Museum in Rabat. The event marked the establishment of a partnership agreement for Barid Al-Maghrib’s membership in the National Portal for Access to Information (PNDAI). This initiative aims to strengthen the principles of transparency and openness, as well as to facilitate the exercise of the right to access information.
The National Portal for Access to Information is a digital platform managed by the Commission for Access to Information. It allows citizens and legally residing foreigners in Morocco to submit and track their requests for information, as well as related complaints, in accordance with Law No. 31.13 concerning the right to access information. The platform also provides member organizations with indicators to assess the performance of their request processing systems, enhancing the effectiveness of the access to information framework and improving the quality of services offered.
This portal serves as a complementary digital tool to existing procedures for submitting requests for access to information. It will enable Barid Al-Maghrib to streamline the process of accessing information and modernize how requests are handled, aligning with its digital transformation strategy and aiming to enhance the use of technology for the benefit of users.
This agreement reflects the commitment of both parties to strengthen the effective implementation of the right to access information and to facilitate its exercise by applicants. It thereby contributes to the promotion of a modern and efficient administration, placing the user at the heart of its concerns.
