Weather disturbances and heavy downpours expected in several regions of the Kingdom.
According to forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology, Saturday, April 11, will be marked by unstable weather conditions across several regions, with variable intensity rainfall and occasional strong winds.
### Thunderstorms and Sporadic Rain
Locally heavy thunderstorms are expected in the northern part of the Eastern region, as well as in the mountainous areas of the High and Middle Atlas. Additionally, light rain will affect Tangier, the Saïss region, and the Atlantic plains extending north of Essaouira.
### Snowfall in the Mountains
Snow is also anticipated in the elevated areas of the High and Middle Atlas, exceeding 1800 meters in altitude, indicating that cold weather will persist in mountainous zones.
### Strong Winds and Temperature Drops
Strong to very strong gusts of wind will impact the eastern part of the country, the Atlas mountain range, the Mediterranean coast, and the southern shores.
Minimum temperatures will range from -5 to 0°C in the Atlas mountains, from 6 to 10°C in the Oriental and Rif regions, and from 8 to 14°C in other areas. During the day, a drop in temperatures is expected in the Oriental, Rif, Atlas, and Saïss regions, while a slight increase is anticipated in others.
### Sea State
The sea will be slightly to moderately rough in the Mediterranean and at the Strait, slightly to moderately rough north of Larache and south of Tarfaya, becoming rough to very rough in the evening. The remaining coasts will experience rough to very rough seas.
These forecasts indicate an unstable day that necessitates caution, particularly in areas exposed to thunderstorms and strong winds.
