Casablanca Hosts Three Trade Shows Dedicated to Energy and Industry

Casablanca to Host Major Trade Fairs for Electricity, Renewable Energy, and Industrial Technologies in November 2026
From November 25 to 28, 2026, Casablanca will host three major trade fairs dedicated to electricity, renewable energy, and industrial technologies: Elec Expo, EneR Event, and Tronica Expo. Organized by the National Federation of Electricity, Electronics, and Renewable Energies (FENELEC) under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, this event aims to gather Moroccan and international companies, investors, and experts to address critical issues of energy, water, and industrial sovereignty.
Located at the International Fair of Casablanca, this edition will be conducted in collaboration with Global Fairs & Events, acting as the delegated organizer. The organizers anticipate the participation of professionals from Morocco and over 30 countries, aiming to promote technological exchanges, industrial partnerships, and investment opportunities.
The theme for this event is “Vision 2030: Strategic Infrastructures & Desalination in Service of Industrial Sovereignty,” which will highlight the transformations Morocco is undertaking in energy, water, electronics, and smart industry. Italy will be the featured country at this edition.
Vision 2030: Energy and Water at the Core of Priorities
In a context marked by tensions over energy resources, water stress, and changes in industrial value chains, Morocco continues to develop its strategic infrastructure. Securing the supply of energy and water has become a major challenge for the competitiveness of businesses and the industrial attractiveness of the Kingdom.
By 2030, the availability of reliable and competitive energy, modernization of electrical networks, and diversification of water resources are expected to play a decisive role in economic development.
Desalination will be a significant topic of discussion. Implementing and operating these infrastructures require complementary skills in electrical engineering, renewable energies, automation, instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
The challenges also pertain to the energy efficiency of installations, the reliability of equipment, maintenance, and cost control in production. These are areas where both Moroccan and international industrialists are expected to offer solutions tailored to the needs of major infrastructure projects.
Three Complementary Trade Fairs to Support Industry
The simultaneous hosting of Elec Expo, EneR Event, and Tronica Expo will bring together several technological sectors within a single professional space.
The 19th edition of Elec Expo will focus on electrical equipment, lighting, electrical engineering, and industrial automation. Visitors will discover solutions designed to improve the performance, safety, and reliability of installations, both in public infrastructures and production units.
The 14th edition of EneR Event will emphasize renewable energy, energy efficiency, and decarbonization. In the context of energy transition, this event will showcase technologies aimed at diversifying supply sources and optimizing company consumption.
Meanwhile, the 13th edition of Tronica Expo will bring together players in electronics, mechatronics, electronic security, smart buildings, avionics, and aerospace. Intelligent systems and technological integration will be among the highlighted fields.
The complementary nature of these three events is expected to encourage the emergence of integrated solutions that meet the needs of energy, water, and industrial projects.
Morocco Strengthens Its Industrial Positioning in Africa
The development of renewable energies, the expansion of electrical infrastructure, and investments in water resource mobilization contribute to enhancing Morocco’s industrial attractiveness.
The Kingdom boasts several advantages, including proximity to European markets, logistical infrastructures, industrial ecosystems, and economic ties with African countries.
In this context, the fairs organized by FENELEC serve as a platform to connect technology suppliers, investors, project owners, and national businesses.
For Moroccan industrialists, the challenge goes beyond securing new commercial contracts. It also involves developing local production capacities, industrial integration, technology transfer, and skills training in high-value-added professions.
Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) could also benefit from these gatherings to access new markets, forge partnerships, and participate in subcontracting chains associated with major infrastructure projects.
Italy in the Spotlight to Foster Technological Partnerships
Italy’s participation as the guest country will add a special dimension to this edition. A national pavilion organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) will allow Italian companies to showcase their technologies in the fields of renewable energy, electronics, and electrical engineering.
This presence aims to strengthen exchanges between Moroccan and Italian economic operators and encourage the creation of industrial partnerships.
The cooperation prospects include electrical equipment, automation, energy technologies, and solutions for industrial infrastructures. Morocco’s positioning as a production platform with access to African markets also presents an opportunity for Italian businesses looking to expand their activities on the continent.
Conferences and B2B Meetings on the Agenda
Beyond exhibition spaces, the three fairs will offer thematic conferences, technological presentations, and B2B professional meetings. These exchanges will bring together industrialists, study offices, investors, public decision-makers, and project leaders.
The anticipated participation of professionals from over 30 countries, particularly from sub-Saharan Africa, is expected to enhance the international dimension of the event and open new avenues for cooperation between African and European markets.
For FENELEC, the goal is to align the needs of major national projects with the solutions offered by Moroccan and foreign companies, while stimulating trade and technological exchanges.
From November 25 to 28, 2026, Casablanca will thus serve as a meeting point for the electricity, renewable energy, and industrial technology sectors. As we approach the 2030 horizon, the challenge will be to transform this professional momentum into productive investments, sustainable partnerships, and new opportunities for Moroccan industry.
