Health: Partnership Between FM6SS and Crédit Agricole du Maroc

The Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health Partners with Credit Agricole Morocco to Enhance Healthcare Access
On Thursday, October 29, 2026, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health (FM6SS) and Credit Agricole Morocco signed a partnership agreement aimed at improving access to healthcare, promoting preventive medicine, and supporting education and training. The agreement also includes tailored financing solutions for students and staff from both institutions, with particular attention to rural populations.
A Partnership Focused on Healthcare Access and Prevention
The agreement was signed at the Mohammed VI International University Hospital in Rabat by Professor Lahcen Belyamani, CEO of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health, and Mohamed Fikrat, Chairman of the Executive Board of Credit Agricole Morocco.
Through this agreement, the bank’s customers and employees will have access, under agreed terms, to the current and future hospital facilities of the Foundation. The partnership aims to facilitate access to healthcare services and enhance preventive measures, particularly in early detection, diagnosis, and awareness.
This initiative seeks to encourage a more proactive approach to health issues and promote the adoption of preventive practices among beneficiaries.
Preventive Medicine for Rural Populations
One of the key aspects of the partnership focuses on bringing healthcare services closer to rural communities. To achieve this, the two institutions plan to leverage the Mohammed VI Center for Preventive Medicine, Longevity, and Performance, as well as the mobile units of Credit Agricole Morocco.
This complementary approach is intended to strengthen awareness, screening, and preventive actions among the targeted populations. It aligns with a commitment to proximity, recognizing the challenges that some residents of rural areas face in accessing healthcare facilities.
The partnership thus places significant emphasis on prevention, going beyond mere medical treatment, by promoting information dissemination and early diagnosis.
Training and Financing Solutions Included
The agreement also outlines the establishment of health education programs and training for employees of Credit Agricole Morocco. These initiatives aim to enhance their knowledge in prevention and promote better health practices.
On the financial side, the agreement provides tailored solutions for students at the Mohammed VI University of Science and Health, as well as for employees of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health.
Through these various dimensions, FM6SS and Credit Agricole Morocco aim to combine medical expertise, prevention, training, and financial support to address complementary needs.
This partnership exemplifies the commitment of both institutions to develop joint actions in the health sector, while facilitating access to healthcare and enhancing awareness, especially among rural populations.
