Aerospace: Two French Manufacturers Target Moroccan EFOA in Nouaceur

French Companies Eye Control of Moroccan Aerospace Firm EFOA
Two French companies specializing in surface treatment, Socorfi-Groupe Galvanoplast and SATEC, are considering a joint acquisition of the Moroccan company EFOA, an industrial player embedded in the aerospace ecosystem of Nouaceur.
The operation involves each firm acquiring 50% of EFOA’s capital and voting rights, a Moroccan legal entity operating in a strategic segment for the aerospace industry.
A Key Sector in the Aerospace Value Chain
Surface treatment is a critical step in the manufacturing of aerospace components. It ensures the protection of parts, their compliance with international standards, and their performance in demanding industrial environments.
In this context, EFOA plays an important role within Morocco’s aerospace subcontracting chain, a rapidly growing sector that is highly integrated into global value chains.
EFOA: A Player at the Heart of Nouaceur
EFOA is a Moroccan legal entity with a capital of 2.5 million dirhams. Located in the El Bouzanine industrial zone on Route No. 9 in Nouaceur, it is situated within the aerospace hub of Greater Casablanca.
This strategic positioning allows it to operate close to major industrial players in the aerospace sector present in the region.
Complementary French Expertise
Socorfi-Groupe Galvanoplast is a French industrial group specializing in surface treatment. Active in Morocco since 2017 through its subsidiary Electroplast, it operates mainly in cataphoresis and zinc-nickel applications for the automotive industry. This new venture would enable it to extend its activities into the aerospace sector.
On the other hand, SATEC is a French company focused on aerospace surface treatment. Its entry into EFOA’s capital alongside Socorfi-Groupe Galvanoplast allows for the combination of two complementary industrial expertise in a single project in Morocco.
A New Illustration of Morocco’s Aerospace Attractiveness
This operation confirms the growing attractiveness of the Moroccan aerospace platform, which is increasingly drawing in specialized international players.
Beyond the major industrial corporations in the sector, the development of the aerospace industry in Morocco also relies on a dense network of technical subcontractors capable of meeting high industry standards, particularly in precision, surface treatment, and quality compliance.
