Donald Trump: A U.S. delegation will travel to Pakistan on Monday to revive negotiations with Iran.

U.S. President Donald Trump Announces Delegation to Pakistan Amidst Iran Negotiations

On Sunday, American President Donald Trump announced that a U.S. delegation will travel to Pakistan on Monday to revive negotiations with Iran.

In a message shared on his Truth Social platform, the occupant of the White House threatened to destroy Iran’s infrastructure should the talks fail. He accused Tehran of violating the ceasefire—which is set to expire in three days—by launching attacks on Saturday in the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump stated that he was offering Iran a "reasonable deal," adding that if Tehran refuses, "the United States will destroy all power plants and bridges in Iran. NO MORE PLAYING NICE!"

"They will fall quickly, they will fall easily, and if they do not accept the DEAL, it will be an honor for me to do what should have been done to Iran by other presidents over the past 47 years," Trump declared regarding Iran’s power plants and bridges.

Previous talks in Islamabad with an American delegation led by Vice President JD Vance ended in failure on April 12.

In response to the ongoing American blockade of its ports, Iran announced on Saturday that it would take "strict control" of the Strait of Hormuz, reversing its earlier decision to reopen this vital maritime corridor, through which normally flows one-fifth of the world’s oil and gas trade.

Following Tehran’s announcement to re-establish the blockade, the U.S. executive leader emphasized on Saturday that Iran could not "blackmail" the United States, while also mentioning "very good conversations" with Iranian leaders aimed at achieving a lasting cessation of hostilities in the Middle East.
