Luxembourg affirms: Morocco, a strategic partner and gateway to Africa.

Luxembourg’s Minister of Economy, SMEs, Energy, and Tourism, Lex Delles, stated that Morocco serves as “a strategic partner and a gateway to the African continent,” following the economic mission he led in the Kingdom from May 4 to May 7.
Enhanced Economic Cooperation
The Luxembourg official emphasized that this visit helped solidify the links between the economic ecosystems of both countries and opened new avenues for cooperation in several key sectors, including infrastructure, renewable energies, innovation, and sustainable finance.
In a statement released after the mission, the Luxembourg Ministry of Economy indicated that the initiative aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation and create new partnership opportunities in areas of mutual interest.
Morocco: An Attractive Economic Dynamic
The statement also highlighted that this mission occurs within the context of the significant economic momentum currently experienced by Morocco, characterized by a notable acceleration of public and private investments.
This development reflects the shared commitment of both countries to enhance their economic relations and stimulate exchanges among businesses, institutions, and innovation ecosystems.
A Significant Economic Delegation
The delegation included nearly 40 economic actors representing 22 Luxembourgish companies as well as five institutions. This mission served as a platform for exchanges aimed at deepening bilateral economic relations, particularly in the sectors of renewable energy, engineering, cybersecurity, industrial technologies, logistics, aerospace, and green finance.
Meetings Focused on Investment
The visit was also marked by several meetings with institutional leaders and representatives from the Moroccan private sector. Discussions focused on investment opportunities and perspectives for economic cooperation, aimed at strengthening economic connections between Europe and Africa and promoting sustainable partnerships beneficial to both parties.
