Made in Morocco: Launch of the First Promotion of 80 Certified Companies

Morocco Takes a Significant Step in Promoting National Production with "Made in Morocco" Labeling
Morocco has reached a new milestone in its strategy to enhance national production with the certification of its first cohort of companies under the "Made in Morocco" label. Nearly 80 industrial enterprises officially received their certificates during a ceremony held in Casablanca.
This initiative is part of the Kingdom’s industrial policy aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of Moroccan products, promoting local integration in value chains, reducing reliance on imports, and increasing the visibility of domestic products on the international stage.
The "Made in Morocco" label is designed as a strategic tool to promote Moroccan industrial expertise and aims to support the growth of local production across several key sectors.
The distinguished companies represent various industrial branches, including food processing, metallurgy and steel, chemicals and plastics, construction materials, pharmaceuticals, and electrical equipment.
This diversity reflects the gradual transformation of Morocco’s industrial fabric and its capacity to position itself in higher value-added segments.
The awarding of the label relies on a rigorous evaluation process, which includes onsite audits, compliance checks with standards, assessment of local value addition, and product traceability mechanisms to ensure the credibility of the initiative.
The objective is to build consumer and international partner trust while enhancing the reputation of Moroccan products in local and foreign markets.
Launched as part of the National Industry Day, this label is expected to gradually expand to a larger number of companies, aiming to structure a more competitive industrial ecosystem that is better integrated into global value chains.
With this first wave of labeling, Morocco confirms its commitment to consolidating a stronger, more visible national industry that is well-positioned amid ongoing international economic transformations.
