Maroc Telecom: Celebrated as Africa’s Most Admired Pan-African Brand
The Maroc Telecom group was honored at the 2026 edition of the "Brand Africa 100 / Morocco’s Most Admired Brands" by receiving the prestigious award for the "Most Admired Pan-African Brand Contributing to a Better Africa." This recognition highlights the company’s significant contributions to the digital and economic development of the African continent.
This accolade affirms Maroc Telecom’s standing among the most influential and respected brands in Africa. Operating in several African markets, the company has established itself as a major player in telecommunications through its ongoing commitment to connectivity and digital inclusion.
Under its Moov Africa brand, Maroc Telecom extends its operations to ten countries across the continent, in addition to Morocco. As of the end of March 2026, it boasted over 76 million customers, reflecting the extensive reach of its services and its strategic role in accelerating digital transformation.
The company’s regional presence enables Maroc Telecom to actively contribute to strengthening digital infrastructure, broadening access to telecommunications services, and supporting technological transitions in African economies.
From a financial perspective, the group achieved a revenue of 36.7 billion dirhams in 2025, propelled by the growth of its African subsidiaries and the continuous rise in demand for internet and mobile services.
Maroc Telecom is also pursuing a robust investment policy. In 2025, investments accounted for 25.6% of the group’s revenue, with a particular emphasis on expanding fiber-optic networks, enhancing high-speed mobile networks, and integrating next-generation technologies.
