Orange Morocco Strengthens Its Cybersecurity Offering Through Three International Technological Partnerships

Orange Morocco Accelerates Cybersecurity Development through Partnerships with Fortinet, NETSCOUT, and Ivanti
Orange Morocco is ramping up its development in the cybersecurity market with three significant partnerships: Fortinet, NETSCOUT, and Ivanti. The primary goal is to enhance the protection of critical infrastructures, improve network resilience against cyberattacks, and better secure connected devices and systems.
These initiatives were unveiled during the Moroccan Cybersecurity Week 2026, held in Rabat from October 12 to 14. Orange Morocco is participating as a silver sponsor and partner in the areas of cloud and security, amid a context underscored by the increasing importance of digital protection to support the technological transformation of the Kingdom.
The partnership with Fortinet aims to bolster the security of industrial systems and critical infrastructures by leveraging expertise in operational technology (OT) security. This collaboration is expected to protect connected industrial equipment and mitigate risks stemming from the growing interconnection between IT systems and technologies used in industrial processes.
With NETSCOUT, Orange Morocco plans to broaden its network protection capabilities by combining defenses against Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, data traffic monitoring, and threat detection. This approach also intends to expedite responses and maintain service continuity in the face of increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks.
The collaboration with Ivanti focuses on developing automated and preventive solutions aimed at securing endpoints. These tools are designed to provide real-time visibility into risks, prioritize threats according to their severity, and facilitate their resolution before they result in major security incidents.
Nihad Mechkouk, the Director of Information and Communication Technologies at Orange Morocco, emphasizes that the acceleration of digital transformation—driven particularly by advancements in artificial intelligence and the proliferation of cyber threats—renders cybersecurity an essential element for the success and sustainability of digital projects.
She also highlights the operator’s commitment to supporting Moroccan businesses and public administrations in securing their systems and activities by harnessing its technical expertise and network of specialized partners.
Orange Morocco’s involvement in this event extends beyond merely presenting technological solutions. Nihad Mechkouk is set to address the conditions necessary for a secure and reliable transition to the cloud. Meanwhile, Mehdi Benabdel, head of the ICT products solutions and engineering department, will participate in a debate focusing on the role of the cybersecurity market in stimulating economic growth and fostering innovation.
Through these partnerships, Orange Morocco aims to solidify its position in the realm of digital security services as organizations grapple with growing challenges related to data protection, infrastructure security, and service continuity.
This approach also underscores the significance of technological alliances in developing integrated solutions tailored to the needs of enterprises and public administrations, thereby enhancing trust in the digital economy in Morocco.
