Peugeot Plans Major Offensive: Seven New Models Announced by 2030

Peugeot Prepares for a New Development Phase with Seven New Models by 2030
Peugeot is gearing up to enter a new phase of its development with the announcement of seven new models set to launch by 2030. This roadmap is part of Stellantis’ strategic plan aimed at accelerating innovation, electrification, and competitiveness across its brands.
This program underscores Peugeot’s central role within the group, as it is now viewed as one of the priority global brands for the years to come.
Future Generations of the 208 and 2008 at the Core of the Strategy
Peugeot’s push will start with refreshing its most popular models, particularly the upcoming generations of the Peugeot 208 and Peugeot 2008.
These two models are expected to evolve onto a next-generation platform and will align with a strategy focused largely on electric vehicles while retaining some technological flexibility based on market requirements.
These launches will mark a significant step in transforming the B segment, which is particularly strategic for the brand.
New Models in C and D Segments
In tandem, Peugeot is preparing several new models in the upper segments. Three new models are anticipated in the C segment, including a brand-new SUV positioned between the 2008 and the 3008.
The upcoming Peugeot 308 is also expected to debut a new generation, featuring multi-energy powertrains to cater to diverse markets.
In the D segment, the brand plans to introduce a premium “shooting brake” model designed to enhance its upscale and technological image.
A Common Platform and Multi-Energy Strategy
These future vehicles will rely on a new technical architecture developed by Stellantis, designed to accommodate electric, thermal, and hybrid powertrains according to market needs.
This multi-energy approach allows Peugeot to adapt to the gradual energy transition without immediately abandoning traditional powertrains.
Strategic Rise within the Stellantis Group
With this product plan, Peugeot becomes a cornerstone of Stellantis’ global strategy. The manufacturer is benefiting from significant investments aimed at accelerating the development of new technologies and strengthening its presence in international markets.
The objective is clear: to increase the brand’s global market coverage and solidify its position against European and Asian competition.
A Major Transformation of the Range by 2030
By the end of the decade, the Peugeot range is expected to undergo a significant renewal, with a strong emphasis on electrification, new designs, and modernization of embedded technologies.
This evolution marks a strategic turning point for the lion brand as it prepares for a complete transformation of its product identity.
