Road Transport in Morocco: The Government Introduces a New Wave of Exceptional Aid for Professionals

The Ministry of Transport and Logistics has announced the launch of a new phase of direct exceptional support aimed at professionals in the road transport sector, covering the period from May 1 to May 15, 2026.
This measure continues the initiative put in place by the government to mitigate the impact of rising fuel prices on stakeholders in the professional transport sector.
Support Now Distributed Every Two Weeks
According to the ministry, this new phase is part of a revised aid mechanism, which will now permit payments every two weeks.
The aim is to more swiftly adapt public support to fluctuations in international fuel prices, amidst a context marked by persistent volatility in oil prices.
Registration Open via Digital Platform
As with previous initiatives, the affected professionals will be able to register through the dedicated digital platform established by the ministry.
Applications for this new phase will open on Tuesday via the official portal “Mouakaba,” designed for managing the road transport aid scheme.
Supporting Road Transport Companies
This mechanism primarily aims to strengthen the resilience of companies operating in the road transport of goods and passengers.
The government thus seeks to limit the direct repercussions of rising fuel costs on the operating expenses of a sector heavily impacted by changes in international energy prices.
Preserving Price and Service Stability
Through this exceptional aid, authorities also aim to ensure the continuity of public transport services as well as the normal supply of national markets.
Maintaining current transport tariffs for citizens is one of the key objectives of this scheme, in order to prevent a direct impact of energy costs on consumers.
Extended Scheme in Response to Fuel Volatility
Since its launch, this support program has been renewed several times to assist professionals in the sector in facing the rising prices of petroleum products.
The government thus continues its strategy for stabilizing the road transport sector, deemed essential for the functioning of the national economy and the smooth operation of supply chains.
