Football fans around the world will turn their eyes towards the stadiums on Tuesday, April 7, and Wednesday, April 8, to follow high-caliber clashes during the first leg of the quarterfinals of the 2026 UEFA Champions League.

Real Madrid will host Bayern Munich in what promises to be a final before the final, while Paris Saint-Germain takes on Liverpool FC in a rematch of last season’s confrontation. Meanwhile, FC Barcelona will face their fellow countrymen Atlético Madrid.

Real Madrid, the most successful club in the competition’s history with 15 trophies, is looking to erase its disappointments in the league after a 2-1 defeat to Real Mallorca and is aiming for a positive result against the German champions at the Santiago Bernabéu.
