SIAM 2026: Crédit Agricole du Maroc Strengthens Agricultural Financing and Green Transition

Morocco’s Agricultural Development at the 2026 International Agricultural Show

At the 2026 International Agricultural Show in Morocco (SIAM), the Crédit Agricole du Maroc (CAM) reaffirmed its role as a key partner in agricultural and rural development by signing strategic agreements with several national and international leading institutions. This initiative is part of a broader effort to modernize Moroccan agriculture and enhance the financing of sustainable agricultural projects.

Key Partnerships for Moroccan Agriculture

Crédit Agricole du Maroc has established agreements with the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, as well as Water and Forests, the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE), the Moroccan Confederation of Agriculture and Rural Development (COMADER), and the Moroccan Association of Agricultural Equipment Importers (AMIMA). Additionally, it has teamed up with prominent international institutions, including the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP). These agreements aim to strengthen agricultural investment, bolster sector competitiveness, and promote innovation in Morocco’s agricultural value chains.

Accelerating Green Transition and Agricultural Innovation

Through these agreements, CAM emphasizes the green transition of Moroccan agriculture by promoting sustainable practices that are resilient to climate challenges. Agricultural financing serves as a critical lever to support farmers in adopting innovative technologies, optimizing water resources, and improving productivity. Crédit Agricole du Maroc thus reaffirms its commitment to sustainable, inclusive, and future-oriented agriculture, closely aligning with national priorities of food security and rural development.

A Strategy for Sustainable Rural Development

With these partnerships, Crédit Agricole du Maroc solidifies its role as a reference bank for the agricultural sector in Morocco. This collaborative approach facilitates the structuring of projects that have a significant economic and social impact while enhancing the resilience of agricultural operations. The 2026 SIAM therefore cements its status as an essential platform for the development of Moroccan agriculture, where financing, innovation, and cooperation converge to build a more efficient and sustainable agricultural model.
