Moroccan National Football Team to Arrive in Rabat After Historic World Cup Run
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has announced that the national team will arrive at Rabat-Salé Airport during the night of Saturday, July 11 to Sunday, July 12, 2026, around 1:00 AM, after their journey from Boston, United States.
In a statement, the FRMF celebrated the remarkable journey of the Atlas Lions, who reached the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup, reaffirming their status as one of the top teams on the global stage.
The Federation also emphasized that Morocco was the only African and Arab nation to make it to the quarter-finals of this historic edition of the World Cup, which marks the first time the tournament has featured 48 participating teams.
Thanks to this impressive performance, the Moroccan team finished the competition among the top eight teams in the world, solidifying their place among the footballing elite.
