The FRMF Supports Gianni Infantino’s Candidacy for FIFA Presidency

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), led by Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, has announced its endorsement of Mr. Gianni Infantino’s candidacy for the FIFA presidency.

In a letter of nomination and support published on its official website, the FRMF stated that it “officially supports” Mr. Infantino’s candidacy during the FIFA Congress elections, which will take place in Rabat on March 18, 2027.

In this context, the FRMF emphasizes that it “exclusively supports Mr. Gianni Infantino for the position of FIFA president and, therefore, will not sign any other declaration of support for any other candidate for this role.”

The letter highlights the significant work carried out by Mr. Gianni Infantino and his team to promote football in Africa and worldwide, reiterating the FRMF’s commitment to maintain its “fruitful cooperation” with FIFA under Mr. Infantino’s presidency for the development and growth of football.
