The Royal Moroccan Table Tennis Federation Strengthens Its Cooperation with China

The Federal Bureau of the Royal Moroccan Table Tennis Federation was officially received by Her Excellency the Ambassador of China to Morocco. This meeting focused on promoting the development of Moroccan table tennis and strengthening the sports partnership between the two countries.
In attendance were the federation president, Anas Ziaiti, the secretary general, Moulay Najim Ahmadi, and the president of the programming and competition committee, Rochdi Mahmoud.
Central to the discussions was a range of concrete proposals aimed at advancing this sport in Morocco, drawing on China’s recognized expertise, known as the global benchmark for table tennis. Conversations included the potential to revive technical cooperation by employing high-level Chinese coaches, organizing training camps in China for Moroccan players, and gaining access to state-of-the-art sports equipment.
This meeting also aimed to reinvigorate a historic partnership between Morocco and China in the sports sector, with the clear ambition of enhancing Moroccan table tennis performance on both continental and international stages.
The FRMTT’s Federal Bureau expressed gratitude for the warm welcome extended by Her Excellency the Ambassador and the special attention given to the various projects presented. The federation officials highlighted the evident interest and deep understanding of the Chinese diplomat regarding this discipline, viewing it as a positive signal for the future and growth of table tennis in Morocco.
