Weather in Morocco: High Heat, Rising Temperatures, and Strong Winds This Tuesday

Weather Forecast for Tuesday, July 14, 2026
The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts generally hot weather across the southeast of the Kingdom, the Oriental region, the Oued Moulouya area, and the interior of the southern provinces. This situation will be accompanied by a rise in maximum temperatures throughout the territory.
According to the weather predictions, low clouds will form in the morning and at night over the plains and Atlantic coasts. These clouds may be accompanied by patches of fog and, in some areas, light rain or drizzle. Unstable clouds are also expected in the High and Middle Atlas regions.
Moderate to strong winds will blow through the High and Middle Atlas, the Oriental region, the southeast, and the southern provinces. These gusts may lead to sandstorms or localized dust lift in the most exposed areas.
Minimum temperatures will range between 26 and 30°C in the southeast and extreme southern regions, 22 and 26°C in the Oriental, 13 and 18°C in the mountainous areas of the Atlas and Rif, and 17 and 22°C elsewhere in the country.
Maximum temperatures will see a widespread increase, intensifying the sensation of heat, particularly in the interior and southern regions.
At sea, conditions will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, while the Atlantic Ocean will present a sea that is slightly choppy to rough along the entire coastline.
