Weather in Morocco: Warm Temperatures Expected in Several Regions This Thursday, June 18

The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts relatively warm to hot weather for Thursday, June 18, across several regions of the Kingdom, particularly in the southeast, east, and southern Sahara provinces, as well as in the Saïss, the interior of the Gharb, the Tadla plains, and the Rehamna region.
Morning Fog and Light Rain in Some Areas
Relatively dense low clouds are expected to form during the morning and night across various parts of the country. These cloud formations may be accompanied by patches of fog or light local rain on the Atlantic plains, the Mediterranean coast, the interior of Souss, and the northwest of the Southern provinces.
Moreover, cumulus clouds could develop over the Middle Atlas mountains, with the risk of localized showers sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms.
Moderate Winds and Dust Blows in Certain Regions
Moderate gusts of wind are anticipated in the Southern provinces as well as in the Oriental region. These winds could lead to localized dust storms, temporarily reducing visibility in some areas.
Temperatures on the Rise
Minimum temperatures will range between 10 and 15°C in the Atlas and Rif mountains. They will vary between 22 and 28°C in the southeast, the Saïss, and the southern Sahara provinces.
In the rest of the Kingdom, nighttime temperatures will be between 16 and 21°C.
During the day, maximum temperatures are expected to experience a slight increase across most regions of the country.
Sea Conditions
The sea will be slightly choppy in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar. It will also remain slightly choppy between Agadir and Laâyoune, while being slightly choppy to choppy along the rest of the Moroccan coastline.
