Professional Integration: 97 Young People Placed in the Hospitality and Restaurant Sector by Nafass

Celebrating Empowerment: Graduation Ceremony for 97 Young Beneficiaries of the Nafass Program

An official ceremony was held on Monday at the Casablanca-Settat regional headquarters to celebrate the graduation of 97 young participants from the Nafass program. This innovative initiative aims to enhance the professional integration of NEET youth (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) within the hospitality and restaurant sectors.

The program is part of a decentralized cooperation framework between the Casablanca-Settat region and the Île-de-France region, formalized through the signing of a roadmap covering the 2025-2027 period. This partnership seeks to bolster access to sustainable employment through intensive training pathways that focus on both technical skills and soft skills.

Participants underwent specialized practical training in hospitality and restaurant operations, supplemented by a month of soft skills training covering communication, personal development, and self-confidence. The program boasts an impressive employment rate of 95%.

The president of the Regional Council, Abdellatif Maâzouz, expressed his satisfaction with the success of this inaugural edition. He emphasized that these results were achieved in “four to six months” due to rigorous training and structured support aimed at enhancing the autonomy and self-confidence of young individuals.

Mr. Maâzouz also expressed the region’s commitment to expanding this model to other sectors and territories, with the goal of providing new opportunities for more young people seeking employment.

The graduates conveyed their pride and satisfaction following the ceremony, viewing this training as a significant turning point in their professional lives. Many see it as a genuine opportunity for reintegration, professional guidance, and building a stable future.

The Casablanca-Settat region also took this opportunity to highlight its additional initiatives aimed at employment and social inclusion. In partnership with the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, the region supports several social and solidarity economy projects that have generated 2,933 jobs, including 933 in the year 2025 alone.

Among its key programs are:

  • Art Factory for cultural industries,
  • TIBU for sports entrepreneurship,
  • Mashrou3i for young project holders,
  • LionsGeek focused on digital careers.

These initiatives have facilitated the training, integration, or support of hundreds of young people in promising sectors.

Through Nafass and its other initiatives, Casablanca-Settat reaffirms its commitment to inclusive, sustainable development centered on the socio-professional integration of youth.
