Strong Wind Gusts and Thunderstorms Expected Across Several Provinces

The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has announced that strong local wind gusts, accompanied by dust storms and occasional thunderstorms, are expected from Wednesday to Thursday in various provinces across the Kingdom.

Wind gusts, reaching speeds of 70 to 90 km/h, are predicted from Wednesday at 3 PM until Thursday at 11 PM in the provinces of Boulemane, Guercif, Taourirt, Jerada, Figuig, Oujda-Angad, Berkane, Nador, Midelt, and Sefrou. The DGM has issued an orange alert regarding these weather conditions.

Additionally, similar wind gusts are anticipated on Thursday from 6 AM to 11 PM in the provinces of Rehamna, El Jadida, Safi, Sidi Bennour, Youssoufia, Chichaoua, Essaouira, Mohammedia, Marrakech, Casablanca, Mediouna, Nouaceur, Rabat, Salé, Skhirate-Temara, Benslimane, Berrechid, Settat, Khouribga, and Khemisset.

Moreover, thunderstorms are expected in some areas, with accompanying wind gusts from Wednesday at 9 PM to Thursday at 9 PM in the provinces of Taroudant, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, and Essaouira.
