The national team holds final training session ahead of friendly match between Morocco and Mozambique in Tangier.

The national football team held a training session on Thursday evening in Tangier ahead of their friendly match against Mozambique scheduled for Friday.
This training session took place at the Grand Stadium of Tangier under the supervision of national coach Walid Regragui. It allowed the technical staff to make final tactical adjustments and strengthen the cohesion among the players before the match.
All summoned players participated in the session, which included technical work, tactical drills, and sequences focused on offensive and defensive coordination.
In a statement to the press, national team player Anass Salah-Eddine said that preparations for Friday’s match are going well, and the team has trained effectively. He added, “We know what we need to do, and we have to win tomorrow to be ready for the Africa Cup of Nations.”
Regarding his first call-up to the national team, he highlighted that the welcome he received from the group was “exceptional” and that he felt at home immediately, to the point of feeling like he had known everyone for years, concluding with “Dima Maghrib” (Always Morocco).
For his part, player Chemsdine Talbi emphasized that this gathering is “very important” as it is the last one before the Africa Cup of Nations. He noted that the group is in great spirits, combining seriousness with a sense of teamwork.
Regarding the friendly match against Mozambique, Talbi expressed that it would be a great honor to win the match in front of a packed stadium, adding, “We have two friendly matches, and right now, we are primarily focused on tomorrow’s game. We are showing a lot of seriousness and are prepared to win.”
“I am very happy and proud to have been called up to the national team, and I am eager to demonstrate my abilities and represent Morocco honorably,” he stated.
It should be noted that the friendly match, which begins at 8 PM at the Grand Stadium of Tangier, will be played in front of a full house, as tickets have sold out.
