Expected Snowfall and Strong Winds Tomorrow Across Several Provinces
According to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM), snow is anticipated starting at elevations of 1,700 meters, along with strong wind gusts in various provinces of the Kingdom this Wednesday.
From 1:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, snowfall is forecasted to reach 20 to 30 centimeters in the provinces of Ifrane, Boulemane, Sefrou, and Midelt. Additionally, 5 to 10 centimeters of snow is expected in Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima, Guercif, Taourirt, Figuig, Taza, Khénifra, Azilal, and Béni Mellal, as indicated in an “orange” alert bulletin from the DGM.
Furthermore, strong wind gusts of 70 to 85 km/h are expected from 3:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, affecting the provinces of Midelt, Jerada, Figuig, Nador, Driouch, and Boulemane, according to the same source.
